The Redline Trio presents music from the film Born to be Blue, with special guests, three-time JUNO winner David Braid and trumpeter Jon Day.
The program includes music Braid composed and arranged for Born to Be Blue, the award-winning feature film starring Ethan Hawke as jazz legend Chet Baker. The New York Observer describes the music as “authentic and sophisticated” and it won both “Best Original Score” and “Best Original Song” at the Canadian Academy Awards.
